Our Wish List
There is always a need for ongoing sponsorship of children through our scholarship programme. There are many children to help and the more people we have who would like to sponsor a child then the more children we can help.
On many occasions we are asked to provide extra sacks of rice for the family of those children we help, especially when the child is being cared for by their grandparents or children from the home of a single parent, especially when their mother is the sole provider. There often isn’t enough food to feed the family. The cost for a bag of good quality rice is RMB 250.
We would like to continue with our very successful chicken and pigs program. The cost for a “Granny Starter Kit” is RMB 4,500.00. Any donation made no matter how small is greatly appreciated by all of us at The Charles Foundation. Clothes that we receive donated through the generosity of so many will always bring a big smile to the faces of everyone..
