Mr. Vermander is a sinologist and political scientist, and the director of the Ricci Institute (Shanghai-Taipei). Since 1995, he has researched the Yi people, the primary minority where the Charles Foundation schools are located. He will share his experiences and knowledge regarding the fascinating culture of the Yi people.
